Quarter Four is a video in which the artist responds to the phrase “to eat one’s heart out”. The video presents the artist in green screened office as she takes out an edible anatomically correct chocolate heart from her shirt and eats it in one sitting. This video work is a critique of the artist’s vulnerability throughout the artistic process and deals with themes of labour, health, sacrifice and consumption.  How much of oneself should one give to the creation process?
